Baseball Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

Sunset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the South Oak Cliff Bears, falling 14-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bison have suffered since March 7th.

Sunset's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for South Oak Cliff, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Sunset will square off against White at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bison surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Oak Cliff, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jefferson at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
