Basketball Recap: Eaglecrest Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eaglecrest extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jada Bobb. The Eaglecrest Raptors blew past the Torrance Tartars 52-32 on Friday thanks in part to Bobb, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Naomi Emecheta, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave her a new career-high.

Eaglecrest now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Torrance, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Eaglecrest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 37-31 win against Marina on the 14th. As for Torrance, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-42 loss against Pacifica Christian/Orange County on the 14th.
