Volleyball Recap: HEA Firebirds HomeSchool Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northview last Thursday, HEA Firebirds HomeSchool came back down to earth. HEA Firebirds HomeSchool fell 3-1 to the Springfield Blue Devils on Thursday. HEA Firebirds HomeSchool was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Springfield apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Springfield scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 18-25, 25-22.

HEA Firebirds HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Springfield, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

HEA Firebirds HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Perrysburg at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Springfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Anthony Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
