Football Recap: East Lee County Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for East Lee County's offense. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Nova Titans. The Jaguars' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Dezrihana Medina was her usual excellent self, throwing for 103 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of her passes, and also punching in one touchdown on the ground for Nova. Tamiyah Bedford also helped with two touchdowns in total.

East Lee County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nova, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, East Lee County will welcome Bishop Verot at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nova, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 29-0 defeat against East Bay on the 1st.
