Basketball Recap: Hinckley-Finlayson Takes a Loss

Hinckley-Finlayson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 82-33. The Jaguars lost against the Rangers in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 87-60 score last time.

Hinckley-Finlayson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Crosby-Ironton, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hinckley-Finlayson will face off against Moose Lake/Willow River at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crosby-Ironton, they will take on East Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
