Baseball Recap: Broken Bow Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

After losing to Asher the last time they met, Broken Bow decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Broken Bow skirted past Asher 7-6. That's two games straight that the Savages have won by just one run.

Broken Bow pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Asher, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Broken Bow has already played their next contest, a 13-3 loss against Caddo on the 29th. As for Asher, they will face off against Tupelo at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Asher is facing Tupelo at the right time seeing as Tupelo is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
