Softball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia fell victim to Clinton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 18-0. The Capitals' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Clinton, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-8-1.

Looking ahead, Clinton will venture away from home to take on Laurens at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Columbia will be paying especially close attention to the Red Devils' match: after the Red Devils faces off against Newberry, they'll take on Columbia again at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
