If Sterling Heights Stevenson wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played L'Anse Creuse, they should've done a better job of containing Logan Kurtz. The L'Anse Creuse Lancers managed a 61-56 victory over the Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans on Thursday thanks to Kurtz, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

L'Anse Creuse's win bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Sterling Heights Stevenson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's still a better percentage than their 4-18 record this season.

L'Anse Creuse will take on L'Anse Creuse North in a tournament on Monday. As for Sterling Heights Stevenson, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sterling Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
