Football Recap: Beech Grove Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

If Jennings County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Beech Grove, they should've done a better job of containing Caron Parks. The Hornets took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 44-0 win over the Panthers thanks in part to Parks, who rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and one score. His longest reception was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.

Beech Grove has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 9 points this season. As for Jennings County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
