Basketball Recap: Haines Takes a Loss

Haines fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Wrangell on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to the Wrangell Wolves. The loss continues a trend for the Glacier Bears in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now lost six in a row.

Haines' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wrangell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wrangell beat Haines by a score of 60-52 on Friday.
