Volleyball Recap: Page Comes Up Short

Page was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. David Tigers. If the Sand Devils were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rylee Natoney paced Page's offense, picking up eight kills. Natoney got some help from Lanae Skacy and her eight assists. Natoney also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Nicholette Jones, racking up four apiece.

Page's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for St. David, they moved to 4-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Page didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Snowflake on the 23rd. As for St. David, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Parker on the 20th.
