Basketball Recap: Osbourn Comes Up Short

Osbourn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Battlefield Bobcats, falling 60-25. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Bobcats are ranked 178th).

Osbourn's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Battlefield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osbourn has already played their next match (against Osbourn Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Battlefield has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Patriot.
