Baseball Recap: Judson Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Judson's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Marcos Rattlers on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Judson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colt Winchell, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Judson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for San Marcos, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5-1.

Looking ahead, Judson will square off against Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Marcos, they will face off against Lehman at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
