Basketball Recap: Indian Trail Takes a Loss

Indian Trail lost against Kenosha Bradford back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indian Trail Hawks came up short against the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils, falling 60-35. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Red Devils are ranked 32nd).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kenosha Bradford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Te'Lisha Brown, who posted six points and 17 steals. Brown is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Iyanna Green, who went 7 of 15 en route to 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Indian Trail's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Kenosha Bradford, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Indian Trail didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-37 win against Janesville Parker on the 14th. As for Kenosha Bradford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 84-4 victory against Washington/Fuller Collegiate Academy on the 17th.
