Soccer Recap: Millburn Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Millburn and Columbia had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Millers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Millburn were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Columbia apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Millburn now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Columbia, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millburn will welcome West Essex at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia, they will square off against Livingston at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
