Salem lost to Lynn English back in October of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Witches put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Salem never let Lynn English on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 26-24, 25-19.

Aniya King paced Salem's offense, picking up eight kills. King got some help from Mia Silva and her 23 assists. Silva was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Salem is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Lynn English, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Salem will host Beverly at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lynn English, they will venture away from home to face off against Saugus at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
