Soccer Recap: Central Valley Academy Comes Up Short

Central Valley Academy entered their contest against Whitesboro on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Thunder lost 4-1 to the Warriors. If Central Valley Academy were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to Whitesboro when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Whitesboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Valley Academy will head out to take on Rome Free Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitesboro, they will square off against Proctor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
