Softball Recap: Glencoe Takes a Loss

Glencoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hokes Bluff Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-0 loss last Wednesday.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Hokes Bluff, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Glencoe has already played their next game (against Piedmont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hokes Bluff, they will square off against Southside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
