Basketball Recap: Poplar Sets Scoring Season-High Against Lodge Grass

Poplar scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Lodge Grass Indians 71-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (64), Poplar still had to take the loss.

Poplar moved to 3-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poplar will venture away from home to face off against Harlem on Friday. As for Lodge Grass, they will head out to square off against Plenty Coups at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lodge Grass will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak dating back to last season.
