Volleyball Recap: Spearfish Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Spearfish won the last time they faced Douglas and Faith Hoffman did her part to make sure it happened again. The Spartans blew past the Patriots 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Hoffman, who had ten digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Spearfish was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-11.

Spearfish has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season. As for Douglas, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-28.

Spearfish wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Mitchell on the 13th. Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
