Baseball Recap: North Brunswick Comes Up Short

North Brunswick came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Ashley Screaming Eagle by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Scorpions just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Ryan Grisso was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Ashley, they pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

As of now, neither North Brunswick nor the Screaming Eagle have any future games scheduled.
