Baseball Recap: Pitkin Comes Up Short

Pitkin was the 4-1 winner over Rosepine when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pitkin Tigers fell 9-4 to the Rosepine Eagles on Saturday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pitkin's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Rosepine, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pitkin will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Louis Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Rosepine, they will square off against Grand Lake at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
