Despite a strong season so far, Normal West has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morton Potters on Saturday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Normal West couldn't quite close it out.

Normal West's loss dropped their record down to 13-2-1. As for Morton, they pushed their record up to 13-2-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Normal West will challenge Peoria Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Morton, they will take on Dunlap at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dunlap's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Morton's offense will have their work cut out for them.
