Football Recap: Mission Viejo Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Mission Viejo's offense. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the El Toro Chargers on Wednesday. The Diablos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Bailey McNeal threw for 94 yards on ten of 26 attempts. Mia Psarras was her top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.

Mission Viejo's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for El Toro, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Mission Viejo will take on Temecula Prep in a tournament on Saturday. As for El Toro, they will square off against Villa Park at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Chargers 10.7, the Spartans 8.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
