Meanwhile, Manor New Tech kept a clean sheet against Smithville on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Tigers. The win continues a trend for Manor New Tech in their matchups with Smithville: they've now won eight in a row.

Manor New Tech's victory bumped their record up to 14-4-1. As for Salado, their win bumped their record up to 19-0-1.

Salado came out on top in a nail-biter against Manor New Tech in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
