Baseball Recap: Army-Navy Falls to Escondido Charter in First Game of Season

Army-Navy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Escondido Charter Tigers on Monday, falling 17-1. The Warriors have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Army-Navy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mario Riquer, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Coming up, Army-Navy will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Orange Glen at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Escondido Charter, they are taking a road trip to challenge Guajome Park Academy at 2:30 p.m. on March 4th.
