Strath Haven had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers. Four seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Strath Haven's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Marple Newtown, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Strath Haven is set to face off against their familiar foe Garnet Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.3, the Jaguars 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Marple Newtown will challenge rival Lower Merion at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
