Baseball Recap: Logan Comes Up Short

Logan lost against New Lexington back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chieftains took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Logan's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for New Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Logan will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Circleville at 5:00 p.m. As for New Lexington, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Logan Elm on the 17th.
