Football Recap: Silver Creek Starts off Right with Win over Skyline

Silver Creek took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Skyline Falcons 35-12. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raptors also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Nolan Gaccetta went supernova, throwing for 383 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 67 yards and one score on only eight carries. Those four passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Jaeger Lupberger was another key player, picking up 30 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Although Skyline took the loss, they still got scores from Justin Vasquez and Servando Morales.

Coming up, Silver Creek will look to defend their home field on Friday against Boulder at 6:30 p.m. As for Skyline, they will venture away from home to take on Bear Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
