Basketball Recap: Turner Falls Despite Big Games from Darion Mcbride and Tyland Mcgee

Turner lost against Seaman back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Turner Golden Bears received a blow as they fell 66-47 to the Seaman Vikings.

Turner's loss came despite strong showings from Tyland Mcgee and Darion McBride. Mcgee dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards, while McBride posted ten points. Mcgee is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Carlos Alexander, who earned seven points.

Turner dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Seaman, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Turner will venture away from home to face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seaman and De Soto will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Seaman has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 196 points over their last three matches.
