Baseball Recap: Chartiers-Houston Gets the Win

Chartiers-Houston's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs by a score of 10-6. The high-scoring effort was just what the Buccaneers needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

J J Livingston and Justus Buckingham did most of the damage at the plate: Livingston went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles, while Buckingham went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. Those three hits gave Buckingham a new career-high. Brady Gotfredson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Chartiers-Houston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They are 4-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Chartiers-Houston back to even at 7-7. As for Bethlehem Center, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
