Washington extended their postseason success on Thursday against Albany. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cougars 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won six matches in a row.

Ethan White paced Washington's offense, picking up 25 kills. White got some help from Kevin Hsieh and his 54 assists. Hsieh was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.
Washington pushed their record up to 13-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Albany, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-15.
