Basketball Recap: Douglass Takes a Loss

Douglass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 53-15 loss at the hands of the Cheney Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Cardinals are ranked 93rd).

Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Cheney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Douglass will venture away from home to square off against Chaparral on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Cardinals coming up.
