Soccer Recap: Union Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Union can now relate to. They lost 6-2 to the Juab Wasps on Wednesday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Union couldn't quite close it out.

Andrus Jensen and Cohen Mcgee scored both of Union's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Union has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Juab, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Juab, they will take on Manti at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Manti will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Juab surely won't give up without a fight.
