Baseball Recap: South Park Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

South Park won against California last Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the East Allegheny Wild Cats. Considering the Eagles have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bryce Berzansky spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits and racked up 13 Ks.

South Park's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average this season. As for East Allegheny, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: South Park beat the Wild Cats by a score of 9-0 later that day.
