There's no place like home for Pioneer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Diamondbacks, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Pioneer pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Looking ahead, Pioneer is taking a road trip to face off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Pioneer surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vela at 6:30 a.m. on Friday.
