Basketball Recap: Atlas Homeschool Skates Past Johnson County Sports Association with Ease

Atlas HomeSchool can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They really took it to the Johnson County Sports Association Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 94-46 win. With the Rattlers ahead 46-26 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Johnson County Sports Association's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gage Bradley, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Bradley is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Gavin Sims was another key player, putting up nine points along with five rebounds and three blocks.

Johnson County Sports Association is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Atlas HomeSchool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Johnson County Sports Association on January 16, 2025.
