Walnut Hills had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 50-16 win over the Anderson Raptors. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Anderson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Breea Coston posted three points along with 11 rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for Coston.

Walnut Hills' victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Anderson, their loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-18.

Walnut Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-37 win against Seton on the 10th. As for Anderson, they have also already played their next game, a 65-35 defeat against Little Miami on the 10th.
