Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berry). They took their match on Monday with ease, bagging a 63-24 win over the Sumiton Christian Eagles. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Maggie Mauldin was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 boards. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Shayla Mayfield was another key player, putting up six points and five steals.

Berry's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 6-13. As for Sumiton Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
