Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Santa Maria walked away with it. They breezed past the Kenedy Lions to the tune of 80-47 on Tuesday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Kenedy still got an impressive performance from DJ Williams, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 15 rebounds. The match was Williams' third in a row with at least 18 points. Jeremiah Fraga was another key player, putting up four points.

Santa Maria's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.5 points. As for Kenedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-18.
