St. Vincent-St. Mary has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. The match between them and Western Reserve Academy wasn't particularly close, with St. Vincent-St. Mary falling 65-46. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as St. Vincent-St. Mary came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Pioneers are ranked 59th).
Our Lady of the Elms is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for St. Vincent-St. Mary, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.
