TRYSTON RUDEWICK turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six innings on Tuesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem: he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.
RUDEWICK's strong effort led Davenport over Fredericksburg and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. RUDEWICK has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (he's averaged 5.7 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Fredericksburg has only allowed 1.66 per game this season.
