Football Recap: Paramount Comes Up Short

Paramount extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 3-7. They came up short against the Warren Bears, falling 31-6. The Pirates were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

As for Warren, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season.

Warren's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Boyette, who picked up 89 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Paramount does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warren, they will take on Norwalk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers' defense has only allowed 13.5 points per game this season, so the Bears' offense will have their work cut out for them.
