Softball Game Preview: Niskayuna Silver Warriors vs. Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks

Niskayuna hasn't had much luck against Saratoga Springs recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Silver Warriors will host the Blue Streaks at 4:15 p.m. Saratoga Springs took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Niskayuna, who comes in off a win.

Niskayuna took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Fonda-Fultonville 18-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Silver Warriors considering their two-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Saratoga Springs' good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 7-3 to Shaker.

Saratoga Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendra LeClair, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI and one double.

The win got Niskayuna back to even at 2-2. As for Saratoga Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
