Soccer Recap: South Point Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rock Hill last Thursday, South Point came back down to earth. The Pointers came up short against the Gallia Academy Blue Devils on Tuesday, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for South Point in their meetings with Gallia Academy: they've now lost three in a row.

South Point's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Gallia Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Point will head out to take on St. Joseph Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gallia Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Portsmouth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
