Baseball Recap: Suwannee Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Suwannee couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the South Walton Seahawks by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since February 20th.

Suwannee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Rogers, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Suwannee dropped their record down to 23-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for South Walton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Suwannee nor South Walton have any future games scheduled.
