Basketball Recap: Wheaton Academy Skates Past Woodlands Academy with Ease

There's no place like home for Wheaton Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Woodlands Academy Wildcats, posting a 54-26 victory. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 540th), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Woodlands Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Dyana Santoyo, who posted eight points along with six boards and three blocks. Faith Guerra was another key player, putting up six points.
