Meanwhile, Santa Fe Trail entered their tilt with Eudora on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cardinals, sneaking past 7-5. That's two games straight that the Chargers have won by exactly two runs.
Santa Fe Trail's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Anderson County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.
