Ironwood Ridge is 9-1 against Rincon/University since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Nighthawks will host the Rangers at 6:00 p.m. Ironwood Ridge will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

While Ironwood Ridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 26-24, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Rincon/University came up short against Sahuarita on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Rincon/University has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-18 record this season. As for Ironwood Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 21-15.

Everything went Ironwood Ridge's way against Rincon/University in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Ironwood Ridge made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Nighthawks repeat their success, or do the Rangers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
