Basketball Recap: Eminence Comes Up Short

Eminence played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Riverside Argonauts and fell 88-25. The Eels haven't had much luck with the Argonauts recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Riverside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bini Hopper, who went 7 of 8 en route to 16 points. Hopper's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Torgrimson, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 15 points.

Eminence's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Riverside, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Eminence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-37 defeat against Victory College Prep on the 20th. Riverside has also already played their next matchup, a 67-13 win against Central Christian Academy on the 20th.
